Style Ravens! Like you already know, we’ve always been pro-women but also unapologetically very pro-black women. Celebrating black beauty, hair and makeup is one of the things we love to do and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Last week, perhaps, spurred on by the first Black and first female Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, the beauty looks we spotted on Black women across the world were even fiercer.
British-Nigerian fashion enthusiast and actress Temi Otedola is definitely setting a trend with her jumbo goddess braids. It’s quite a refreshing take on jumbo jumbo braids and we hope to see more of it! Still on braids––America nmuse, Kayla Arianne, was a sight to behold in her goddess locs. Yet her eyes were the star of the show, thanks to the drama of the wispy lash extensions on her top and bottom lashes. Such a goddess!
Whatever the size of your Afro, large and wide like Taylor Anise’s or small and short like Ronke Raji’s, do it some justice and rock it with boldness! After all, it is your precious crown. Never stop celebrating its glory!
We really love the head wraps that American actress, Meagan Good has been serving us for the past couple of weeks. Last week, it was a beautiful burnt orange matching with her makeup and outfit. A serve that left us searching for turban tutorials to get the look.
Last week, Mianik accessories founder Olay Noel could not by any chance be overlooked! The nude look is definitely not going out of fashion anytime soon and we love all the different shades it is giving us. This nude red lip on Olay arrested us at first glance and we weren’t trying to post bail too quickly. Hers was a look so royal, so timeless and so magical we couldn’t help but say: black girl magic!
Check out last week’s best beauty looks…
